Local College Students Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident

The Delaware County Times reported on September 29 that police were searching for a driver who allegedly stole a Range Rover SUV and crashed it into another car while going at least 100 mph. A Villanova student was killed by the hit-and-run driver and another student was critically injured. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that almost 11% of all vehicle accidents are hit-and-run car crashes. Each year, nearly 700,000 hit-and-run car accident cases are reported in the United States. If it is determined that the driver of the Range Rover was at fault for this tragic Pennsylvania wrongful death auto accident, he could face additional criminal charges besides the hit-and-run charge.
