ABC 2 News reports that Maryland police arrested a 21-year-old man from Westminster after driving drunk resulted in him hitting at least five parked cars, three mailboxes, and a stop sign in the early morning hours of January 4th. According to the article, police began their search for the driver after responding to a report of a white truck hitting a mailbox and linking the incident to another report of a hit-and-run accident involving a parked car in the area.
After receiving a description of the vehicle involved in the accidents, a Maryland State Trooper found the suspect’s vehicle not far from the scene of the accidents. When questioning the suspect, officers noticed a strong odor of alcohol and an open case of beer in the vehicle. In addition, the truck had several scratches and dents along its side and was missing its front bumper and signal lights.
