A 42-year-old man from Atlantic Highlands has been arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated (DWI) with his 4-year-old son in his car. According to a news report in The Staten Island Advance, the arrest occurred on the Outerbridge Crossing in Staten Island. Officials say the man’s gray 2000 Volvo was traveling erratically and that he smelled of alcohol during the traffic stop. The man allegedly admitted to drinking five or six beers at Yankee Stadium. He now faces two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated, two counts of DWI, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child under Leandra’s Law.
