A 41-year-old New Jersey woman is now facing multiple charges including leaving the scene of an accident while allegedly under the influence of alcohol. According to a news report in The Republic, the driving while intoxicated (DWI) arrest occurred after officials found the Bayonne woman in a damaged car. Officials say the woman left her 3-year-old daughter home alone before leaving, causing a car crash and fleeing the scene of the accident. Officials found her shortly after the collision and arrested her on suspicion of DWI and hit-and-run. They have also charged her with cruelty and neglect after they found her 3-year-old daughter at home alone but unharmed.
