Truck Driver Charged with DUI for Crash that Spilled Concrete Across I-95

A truck crash on Interstate 95 on the night of February 15 didn’t result in any injuries, but the massive amount of concrete solution that was spread across the highway resulted in both Interstate 95 and 895 closing for cleanup. The truck driver was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) and has been arrested and charged with DUI and negligent driving, according to ABC2News.com. Although it has been reported that the truck driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident, details concerning how the crash exactly happened are still unknown and police are investigating the accident. The Maryland DUI accident occurred around 8:30 pm by the toll plaza at Fort McHenry Tunnel, spilling the concrete solution across I-95 and down onto the lower lanes of I-895.
