A 23-year-old woman was recently cited for driving under the influence of a controlled substance after suffering major injuries in a New Jersey car accident. According to a news report in The Sheboygan Press, the alleged New Jersey DUI collision occurred along State Highway 28 south of Cherry Hill Road in Sheboygan County. Officials say her 2010 Toyota Corolla veered off the roadway, through a field, and crashed into trees. Her injuries have been listed as serious.
Driving under the influence of a controlled substance has the same penalties as driving while intoxicated.
