Triple Murder, 1 Injury at Mormon Lake Motorcycle Rally

Many believe that there’s a high level of murder, terror, and mayhem in Arizona; however, records show that there is a decrease in crime rates and in other border states. According to the FBI’s preliminary UCR (Uniform Crime Report) for 2009, violent crimes in Arizona were down for the third year in a row by 15% since 2006. An approximate number of crimes in 2006 was 30,916 and has dropped to 26,094 in 2009. In recent news, police have identified the three people who were shot and killed late Friday night at 11:20 p.m. during a motorcycle rally in Northern Arizona. The one injured is a 33 year old woman who received six gunshot wounds but managed to survive and is still recovering at the Flagstaff Medical Center. Reports say that one of the victims was suspected to be involved in a verbal argument with someone regarding food, which led to the shooting.
