Car Accident in Philadelphia Kills Two
A car crash on August 29 on South 61st Street in Philadelphia, PA left two men dead. An article on Philly.com reported that a man in a black Chevrolet was speeding and drove into oncoming traffic. He hit a man, 38, driving a blue Chevy SUV and both men were killed in the accident.
According to the AAA Foundation, excessive speed was the cause of more than half of fatal crashes from 2003 through 2007.

A woman in her 60s was hit by a SEPTA bus on June 22 near the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. According to this article on Philly.com, the Route 32 bus was traveling south on 21st Street when it struck the woman as it was turning east on Winter Street.
