New Study Finds Christmas Lights Contain Unhealthy Amounts of Lead
Researchers at the Ecology Center in Michigan were curious – how many holiday lights contained dangerous levels of lead? Florida Highway Patrol Hands Out 12,000 Citations over Thanksgiving Holiday
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has released its holiday weekend enforcement results for the Thanksgiving holiday. According to the preliminary results for November 23 through 27, there were 136 DUI arrests, 2,805 assist calls on the roadways, 4,882 speeding citations issued, and 1,332 seat belt citations given. Increase in PA Driving Fatalities over New Year’s Holiday
The Pennsylvania State police reported that the number of driving fatalities this year during the New Year’s holiday weekend nearly doubled since last year. An article in The Philadelphia Inquirer said that eleven people were killed and 220 others were injured in the 693 car crashes during the four-day period.
