Susan L. Sipe, President of SLS Consulting has dedicated her career to assisting attorneys with the growth and management of their law practices Nationwide. In 1999 she founded SLS Consulting, specializing in assisting lawyers with client development strategies and Internet visibility. SLS has become an industry leader in Legal Internet Marketing, Legal website design and legal website Search Engine Optimization.

With over 25 years of experience in the legal field, she has a thorough understanding of what it takes to make a law firm successful in today's changing economy and how to stay focused and organized in the midst of change.

Heather Snyder

Office Manager

Heather Snyder has always been an SLS Employee! She is Susan's oldest daughter and started with SLS as a summer employee doing "jail mail". From administrative work to content writing and now managing the office, including the company's finances and payroll, Heather has done it all. She has watched SLS grow from a couple of employees working out of a guest house, to a small and successful business of 10 working out of two beautiful office suites. Heather continues to learn the ever expanding world of SEO and has recently taken on some of the company's Local Search marketing and Social Networking.

 

Thanks to her boss being so gracious, Heather is able to work from home a couple days a week so she can stay home with her daughter, 18 month old Annabelle. Annabelle is Heather's first child and the first grandchild of the family...keeping Susan away from the office one day a week for playdates. Heather also enjoys cooking, baking and entertaining in her home whenever possible!

Ronnie Gee

Web Design Lead

Ronnie Gee has been working with SLS Consulting for over 4 years. His previous experiences include working as a graphic designer for the city of Los Angeles Public Works, retouching and designing wedding albums for a photography studio as well as working on other various freelance projects.

His duties at SLS include developing websites and coming up with original templates, maintenance of sites, working with clients to deliver the look and overall feel of what they want as well as overseeing the Graphics Department. Cookies and basketball are his two vices.

Julieta Gonzaga

Web Designer / Editor

Julieta Gonzaga made her first website for a band she played bass in over 10 years ago, and has never been the same since. She was ecstatic when she realized a few years later that she could actually do this for a living! So she dives right into core classes for designing and developing websites. She was soon after recruited by SLS Consulting, who has helped nurture her skills, making her the (self-proclaimed) "Master Coder" she is now. Her duties include building, maintaining, and creating templates for client websites, as well as other various graphic design and animation work. She enjoys her spare time with her family, cooking/baking, playing with her iPhone, shopping on Amazon, playing music-related video games, and of course, making websites!

Leticia Perez

Web Designer / Graphic Designer

Since 2006, Leticia Perez has been a part of the SLS Consulting team but has been a designer for the past 10 years. She attended Cal Poly Pomona University from which she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. There she developed her interest in not only print based design but also motion graphics and web design. She was also a finalist in the redesign of the Cal Poly Pomona hillside logo, something she is still very proud of.

Not too long after receiving her degree, Leticia began working for SLS Consulting where her responsibilities range from web design, coding, and editing, to motion graphics and print work. What she loves most about working at SLS are being surrounded by amazing people and getting to work with her favorite programs, Photoshop and Flash, everyday.

Melissa Koharchick

SEO Specialist / Project Manager

Melissa Koharchick is the longest tenured SLS employee besides Susan. Her invaluable experience has enabled her to project manage many of our clients as well as becoming an SEO expert. She brings over 6 years of search engine optimization experience and has been trained in the intricacies of how to best optimize sites for our clients.

Robert Ramirez

SEO / SEM Specialist | Project Manager | Writing Department Manager

Robert Ramirez is in his third year of working with SLS’s Team of legal marketing experts, but his experience working with and creating websites on the internet stretches back more than 10 years. As a freelance website designer Robert specialized in creating custom solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. In addition to his freelance work, Robert has been employed by large corporations like Wells Fargo and Kaiser Permanente managing projects implementing cutting edge technology solutions across multiple platforms and locations. This experience as a project manager has enabled Robert to expand his technical knowledge in real work environments while concentrating on fostering his ability to effectively communicate between technical and non-technical business groups.

 

In addition to his management and technical acumen, Robert is also an accomplished writer. His ability to quickly produce knowledgeable, easy to read content for SLS client’s has been a welcome bonus and has lead to his being named head of SLS’s writing department. In this capacity Robert is able to oversee the development of the content that is so important to increasing SLS client’s online exposure and building a reputation online as authorities in their respective fields.

 

A native of Los Angeles, Robert attended the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA)  where he studied Mass Communications and English. He currently lives in Eagle Rock, California.

Scott Simpson

Administrative Assistant

Scott Simpson graduated from the University of Southern California in 2005, earning a BA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in film studies.  He soon landed a position at The Walt Disney Company as an Administrative Assistant, helping organize the office and assisting his co-workers with a variety of tasks.  Then in 2008, Scott became a freelance proofreader at Eclipse Advertising in Burbank, CA.  As part of the editorial department, Scott proofread movie and video game advertisements, aiding in the marketing process for a variety of projects, including feature films released by New Line Cinema, Dreamworks Animation, and Twentieth Century-Fox.  In 2009, after a brief stint with Disney Consumer Products, Scott accepted a freelance copywriter position with SLS Consulting.  One month into his venture with SLS, Scott was offered an in-office Administrative Assistant position with the company.

Aside from the everyday tasks of answering phone calls and running errands for the company, Scott creates client profiles for local listings and is responsible for writing dozens of blogs monthly.  He continues to regularly write website content in and out-of house.  Aside from the aforementioned blogging and content writing, Scott also assists with a variety of writing projects, including submission articles and press releases.  Additionally, he currently helps create social networking profiles for various SLS clients.

Stephanie Soule-Maggio

Copywriter and Search Engine Optimization Strategist

Stephanie Soule-Maggio graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Literature from the College of Creative Studies where she received Honorable Mention in the Most Excellent Writing Contest. Stephanie focused on her passion for comparative literature and poetry at UCSB, which has lent her the ability to write on an array of topics and produce varied web content. Before working as a copywriter and search engine optimization strategist at SLS Consulting, Stephanie did freelance writing and Internet marketing for the Web Success Team and worked as a fundraiser for the UCSB Annual Fund (raising nearly $60,000 for the non-profit organization supporting student programs). Stephanie is pleased to be a part of the SLS Consulting team as the “Blog Queen.” In writing legal web content, Stephanie also integrates search engine optimization and firm branding into the writing, editing, and posting of blogs, articles, and web pages.

Paul Teddy

Project Manager

Paul Teddy is a Project Manager at SLS Consulting. As the primary contact point for a number of our clients, Paul spends a great deal of time handling requests from clients and their staff, which can include anything from creating an entire new website about a major new practice area to simple wording changes or contact info updates. Aside from performing most of the actual changes to websites he is responsible for, Paul also assists in developing marketing and optimization plans and communicates content and design needs. Paul is rarely seen without his headphones at work, particularly while coding. To him, as syntax and methods become more fluent, music helps keep a steady pace.

 

Paul is originally from a small town near Flint, MI. He graduated from Wayne State University, in Detroit, MI in 2007 with a BS in Computer Science. Web development has always been a hobby of his – in addition to the HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP he utilizes regularly, he also has experience with XML, Photoshop, Flash, ActionScript, C++, MySQL, Oracle and many other development environments and tools. Outside work, Paul enjoys live music, shooting pool, cycling, running, and canoeing.
